Careers

Working at UBIK.

Engineering work on data centers in the Middle East, Africa and Southern Europe, on engagements led by a UBIK principal.

01/The work

Engineers at UBIK work on data centers from feasibility to operational readiness.

In the Middle East, Africa and Southern Europe. Each engagement is led by a principal, who writes the brief, reviews the work and signs each deliverable.

The work is producing and checking drawings and calculations, reviewing designs and contractor submittals, inspecting installations on site, witnessing and recording tests, and writing the reports that close each stage.

UBIK takes engineers on in two ways.

As employees, based in Dubai and in India, and as specialists engaged for a single facility or stage, who work from their own country between site visits.

Site work takes place in the country of each project, and engineers travel to site for inspections, tests and reviews.

Positions, how to apply and what follows.

Positions

UBIK takes engineers on when an engagement needs their discipline, and reviews the applications on file when it does.

No position is advertised at present.

How to apply

Applications are sent by email to careers@ubik.ae, with the discipline in the subject line. Each application includes a CV and a one-page note on two data center or critical facility projects, giving for each the stage, the applicant’s role and what the applicant produced, reviewed or tested. The note does not need client names, site details or confidential drawings.

UBIK does not accept CVs from recruitment agencies. UBIK does not charge applicants any fee, and offers of employment are sent only from an @ubik.ae address.

After an application

The principals read each application. Where it matches work in hand, a principal arranges a call with the applicant. Other applications are kept on file for future roles for two years and deleted on request, as described in the privacy notice.
